Taiwan’s Xing Fu Tang (幸福堂) Bubble Tea Shop Opens in Miri, Sarawak

Looks like the bubble tea craze is not slowing down in Miri! With so many new bubble tea shops and café popping up, Mirians are continually spoiled with choices. Xing Fu Tang located at Marina Time Square. The first day of opening attracts a never-ending crowd. I was forced by Nipa to accompany her queuing up for her favourite Boba Milk Tea.

Xing Fu Tang is famous for their brown sugar pearls which are cooked and displayed right in front of the shop. The pearls are freshly cooked, super chewy with rich caramelized taste.

I have a habit of observing kitchen whenever I went to any food processing premise. Watching the milk tea making process so that I can know their ingredients. I am really impressed as they used EcoFresh A2 pasteurised milk which indicates that their drink is high quality. EcoFresh milk is produced naturally by cow with no mutation. The advantages of A2 milk include less bloating, helps with digestion, reduce abdominal discomfort and gut inflammation.

One quirky thing about Xing Fu Tang is that they let customer pick a fortune telling stick to draw a luck paper. I was told to have great luck in my love life.
